"All bad poetry springs from genuine feeling."~Oscar Wilde.
I love to look deeply into things like rocky cliffs, granite type faces and trees and sure enough there they are, the "lovely ghosts" as you call them. Aren't we fortunate if we dare to look.
Yes, you got the gist.I was not feeling very wise and daring, it was spooky in the hills at night, alone, but the "lovely ghosts" were with me. I am fascinated by your expression "granite type faces" I am pondering over it. It has many dimensions.
Granite type faces was a bit of slip of the typing fingers but I like to look for faces in the the formations of granite. Oh yes, I have met the "granite" type face persons too! Gives me a shiver that you were alone in the hills!
Thank you Rozanna for expanding.'Granite type faces' remind me of my school principal,Sister A.Marie, when she called errant students to PO. One could never be sure of what was in store when she summoned:)
